Solar - it is just a song you can not forget because of all the harmonic detail, the easy 12 bar format and of course the Miles' melody.

Where to begin? I think for me it is the modal underpinnings that make this a winner for me.

However, I cannot go without saying that I just dig how the simple melody and format allow you to play in a straightforward manner and "free" which I really think was one the most important cornerstones of Miles Davis' songs.
