Full House! The incredible Wes Montgomery. He was like no other musician at all and in fact,

I really cannot compare him to anyone of the time period or even today because he just HAD something about his playing that was not of this world.

It was old and it was new and he just did his thing, time and time again.

Of course Full House is a classy hard bop tune that Wes, in my opinion, wrote during a time when jazz was starting to change, especially from playing standards.

And, what I really dig about this tune is the fact that it has many possibilities for opening up because of the long F minor vamp, but also the bridge gives it this classic sound, all while keeping the groove in 3/4.

It is brilliant.
